Level 3 - Sauna-Specialist
Level 3 is the professional qualification level for participants who want to understand sauna operation as a complete system. It goes beyond individual procedures and focuses on the interaction of climate, physiology, safety, guest care, hygiene, communication and operational responsibility.
The course is designed for experienced sauna employees, infusion specialists and staff members who are ready to take on broader responsibility within a sauna or wellness facility. Participants learn how to assess sauna situations systematically, recognise risks early and make sound decisions in everyday operation.
A central focus is the health-oriented management of sauna practice. Participants deepen their understanding of heat exposure, cooling, recovery, circulation, individual tolerance and the effects of different sauna environments. They learn how room climate, occupancy, ventilation, infusion practice and guest behaviour influence the actual stress placed on the body.
Level 3 also addresses professional guest guidance. Participants learn how to communicate clearly, handle questions and concerns, recognise warning signs, respond to difficult situations and support a respectful sauna culture. Hygiene, operational routines, documentation, programme planning and quality awareness are included as essential parts of professional practice.
The course also introduces the principles of responsible sauna management. Participants learn why a sauna specialist must not simply follow routines, but must observe, evaluate and adapt. Safe sauna practice depends on attention to detail, good judgement and the ability to balance guest experience with health, safety and operational reality.
After completing Level 3, participants will have a comprehensive foundation for professional work in sauna facilities. They will be able to support daily operations with greater confidence, contribute to a higher level of quality and help create sauna experiences that are safe, responsible and genuinely health-oriented.
