Level 2 - Aufguss-Specialist

Level 2 is designed for people who want to develop professional competence in sauna infusions. It is aimed at sauna employees, wellness staff and aspiring infusion specialists who want to move beyond simple routines and understand how an infusion influences heat, humidity, air movement, guest perception and safety.

The course introduces the essential principles of responsible sauna infusion practice. Participants learn how water quantity, timing, ventilation, guest position, room size and temperature affect the actual thermal load inside the sauna. They also gain a practical understanding of how to prepare, conduct and conclude an infusion in a controlled and guest-oriented way.

A central focus is safe heat management. Participants learn how to recognise signs of excessive strain, how to adapt an infusion to the room, the audience and the situation, and why a technically impressive infusion is not automatically a good or safe one. The course also addresses communication with guests, calm leadership during the infusion and appropriate behaviour before, during and after the programme.

Level 2 includes the foundations of infusion design, including the use of water, ice, fragrances and selected additional materials. Hygiene, product handling, dosage, possible sensitivities and the limits of special infusions are addressed from a practical safety perspective.

After completing Level 2, participants will understand how to plan and conduct sauna infusions with greater confidence, responsibility and professional awareness. They will be able to create enjoyable guest experiences while keeping safety, climate control and health-oriented practice at the centre of their work.
