International Sauna Qualification System - ISQS

The International Sauna Qualification System (ISQS) is the educational framework of the International Sauna Academy. It provides a clear, progressive pathway for people who want to develop informed, responsible and professional competence in sauna practice.

ISQS connects sauna knowledge with practical understanding. It does not focus only on routines, individual techniques or isolated traditions. Instead, it brings together health-oriented sauna use, safety, physiology, heat and cold management, guest communication, sauna infusions, operational responsibility and modern quality standards.

The system is structured in learning levels. Participants can begin as informed sauna users and continue step by step toward specialist, master or instructor qualifications. Each level builds on the previous one and combines knowledge, practical relevance and clear learning objectives.

ISQS is designed for sauna guests, employees, Aufguss specialists, sauna professionals, operators, instructors and future experts. Courses are delivered online in structured modules and are supported by video lessons, learning materials, knowledge checks, practical examples and certificates.

The aim is simple: to make sauna practice safer, more understandable, more health-oriented and more professional.
